Knitting On Impulse has a post on September 13 called Patterns in Nature. This is a subject near and dear to my heart, as I am often inspired by nature.
In this post she has a photograph which is then converted to a graph, and some other little patterns to go with it. What a great sense of color. I can see it knit with silk and beads. Or just maybe silk. Not a lot of beads, just a few.
I am going to pop back later to this site myself, as there is a lot to look at. The photography alone is quite inspiring. She has a web store also with Artisan Jewelry. Can you hear me groaning? Groaning because it really is too lovely and I know I am going to have to get some.
At any rate, an enjoyable read and thanks for the link on your blog roll.
Pennsylvania knitter Lillian learned how to knit in 2006, and already has her own blog. Plus, she knitted my Wine and Roses mitts that were in Interweave.
Kudos to you, Lillian, you will have a lot of fun over the years with your knitting.
Lillian’s blog is called Blue Frog Studio.
Issues With Knitting is a blog I first came across when I was lamenting fine yarn phobia. Laurie has an enjoyable blog, with some nice photos of some impressive knitting. She has quite an impressive list of links to blogs, too, I might add.
Hi Laurie! I still have folks coming by my blog from your comment in September on your blog regarding my post about yarns!
My list sister from Indiana Knits, Vickie, has a blog called Simple Knits. She has a knitting pattern on her blog for some Bunny Egg Covers. They are cute, and you may have fun using up odd bits of yarn with this one.
I don’t remember if I mentioned Simple Knits before or not, but I have them show up frequently in my blog stats as a site that people click a link to my blog from. She has some other fun things there too.
It is a beautiful spring day. I am passing the time before I have to go into the hospital and work this evening. I step outdoors and the sun is shining, the sky is blue, and the birds are singing so much, the air is full of their song. If I did not have to work, I would take my knitting outside and absorb the wonder that is Spring. I would probably take my laptop with me, as I have some designs to complete and get off to my test knitters.

Awhile back, I had posted a couple blogs who had shown up in my blog stats here on Word Press. There is a category that shows links knitters have taken to get to my blog, and that is how I am able to see them.
Besides the links for bloglines and other feeds, there are of course links from rings, such as the Independent Knitwear Designers Ring. There are a number of very good independent designers in this ring, so if you want to check them out follow the links at the bottom right for this ring.
This blogger is from Manhattan, and has a post about a hawk sighting (Feb. 23). I have often said that inspiration can be found just about anywhere, and this is a good example. I clicked on the link on her blog for information on the Red Tailed Hawk, and it is truly a beautiful bird. A beautiful colorway from the bird alone would be magnificent, wonderful for the fall, a chic urban number that would be a blend between sophistication and relaxation. Think of Starbucks in the park.
WooHoo! I feel a design coming on…
