Great Toy for Knitters: Calculator Does Metric to Imperial Conversions

When I went to Office Depot to pick up some of their brand sheet protectors, I found something I had to have. They have “ativa” calculators (AT-CV1) that will convert between the metric and imperial measurements and weights. This also extends to acres and meters (although that does not apply to any one an a stash enhancement expedition).

 I have I don’t know how many calculators scattered about. Probably 6 at least. This one is going to be one I want in my knitting bag. Want to know how many ounces are in the 50 gram ball and don’t remember the conversion? No problem with this. It works in the opposite direction too. It does not convert from yards to meters, however, but feet to meters so there would be the extra step for that, but hey that is one conversion I can remember.
